Hugo Alvar Henrik Aalto (1898 - 1976) was a Finnish architect and designer, sometimes called the "Father of Modernism" in the Nordic countries. His work includes architecture, furniture and glassware.
The original image was taken by photographer Rauno Trasklein in 1952-1953.
