Radio City Construction Postcard

Hamilton Wright Photographer

This modern reproduction postcard features a photograph of four iron workers snoozing on a steel beam high above New York City.

The workers are building what is now the GE Building (formerly known as the RCA Building). In 1932, when the photo was taken, the building was known as Radio City. This is a different building than the current Radio City Music Hall. Both buildings are part of the modern day Rockefeller Center however.

The original image was taken by Hamilton Wright and is titled "Radio City".
