The Unicorn in Captivity Postcard
This beautiful postcard depicts the image of a magical white unicorn in captivity. The unicorn is tethered to a tree and surrounded by a fence.
The original tapestry was created during the Middle Ages ( South Netherlandish ) between 1495-1505, is currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, NY and was a gift by John D. Rockefeller Jr. in 1937 to the museum.
The postcard was published by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2010.
